PlantAmnesty Plant Walk: Volunteer Park w/ Walt Bubelis

Join PlantAmnesty, led by a local legend and horticulturalist Walt Bubelis. Not only will these be fundraising opportunities to support our programs, but they will be intimate plant identification walks at some of Seattle’s most beloved gardens and greenspaces.

Learn helpful plant identification tips, hear fascinating stories about the plants, and meet other plant-minded members of the community!

Walt has inspired and taught many horticulturalists in our area, don’t miss out on an opportunity to learn about one of Seattle’s wonderful green spaces.

Walt Bubelis Bio

Walt Bubelis is a retired horticulturist, educator, and founder of the Horticulture program at Edmonds College. Having a long history with Seattle and the Horticulture field, Walt has taught thousands to appreciate and care for plants.
