This workshop will be held on private property. Our primary material will be Japanese white pines that have previously been shaped annually and were last shaped in 2025. We will also discuss and work minimally on a single Japanese black pine and will clean up a large mugo pine.
Registrants must have taken the following classes: Trees I (or Tree Pruning I), Trees II (or Tree Pruning II), and Japanese Garden Pruning.
Small groups of students will rotate between stations within the property to get time with different instructors on different plant materials.
Registration for this renovation workshop is is $125/members and $175/nonmembers. Member tickets will be available for purchase at noon on Wednesday, October 7 (Pacific time zone!). Non-member tickets will be available for purchase starting at noon on Friday, October 9.
