Urban Wildlife Habitat: Hazard to Habitat and Brush with Ken Bevis
Various kinds of wildlife co-exist with us in urban settings. Mostly these animals enrich our lives with their antics, and sometimes are nuisances that may require a response. Trees and shrubs are important elements of the urban built landscape, providing both aesthetic and ecological benefits. Ken Bevis is the Stewardship Wildlife Biologist with the WA Department of Natural Resources Service Forestry program, assisting small forest landowners statewide with advice on providing wildlife habitat in forested settings. He has given many talks and thinks he is funny.
