Join us for our last bash of the year at our annual holiday party. It's a time to reflect, a time to celebrate and a time to enjoy the company of like-minded plant people. We’ve had an unprecedented year of events, fundraising, classes and workshops and we want to talk about it!
We are also going to unveil our new PlantAmnesty t-shirt design and give you a sneak peek at many of the great things we’re planning for 2019!
Sticking with tradition, this will be a potluck event, so bring one of your favorite holiday dishes or money to donate for food and beverage.
This event is free to ALL PlantAmnesty Members. If you have a friend or family member who you think would like to join, please bring them along. We will be prepared to sign up new members and renew old memberships.

The Holly-Dazed Singers will be performing “fractured” holiday/horticulture songs at this year’s Holiday Party on December 12, just as they have for the past several years.  If you would like to join this group of fun-loving amateur singers, you are more than welcome. No audition is necessary, and reading music is not required.  Rehearsals will be Dec 1 and Dec 8 (9-11 each day), and the hour before the Holiday Party starts.  If you are interested, and can commit to the rehearsal schedule, please contact Jack Bautsch at [email protected]

What a night we had!  PlantAmnesty sends our heartfelt thanks out to all our volunteers, chili makers, generous plant donors, overwhelming Raise-The-Paddle donors, always funny and entertaining Ciscoe Morris and George Lasch and our very enthusiastic Tree Hugger Bingo players.  We couldn't have done this without all of you!

We had a few left behind articles, so if you are missing anything - give us a call at the office.

If you have pictures to share, send them to [email protected] and we will post them.

City Fruit Master Fruit Tree Steward Program

Calling all fruit tree enthusiasts! City Fruit is now accepting applications for the 2019 Master Fruit Tree Steward (MFTS) Program.  If you love fruit trees and want to be able to better care for fruit trees in your own backyard, at a neighbor's house, or in public orchards to help preserve Seattle's urban fruit canopy, then this program is for you!

There will be a total of 6 hands-on workshops that combine both classroom and urban orchard experiences to gain skills in identifying, planting, pruning, harvesting and sharing fruit from local fruit trees. The instruction fee is $250 plus a $45 material fee. The program is limited to 16 students so fill out your application soon! The registration will close on November 30.
