Meeting of Like Minds

pests and pathogens at the
University of Washington Botanic Gardens

When: Tuesday, October 16  7 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Ryan Garrison, plant health specialist and horticulturalist from the UW Botanic Garden and Arboretum, scouts and deals with pests and pathogens that threaten the collections at these great institutions.
Ryan has been involved with the UW Botanic Gardens since 2003, where he is working toward his master's degree, studying the invasive azalea lace bug that has greatly impacted the species that is a cornerstone of the Arboretum. Come learn how this pest, and many others are being identified and managed.

The Meeting of Like Minds are FREE special educational events for our members where we mix and mingle and listen to an outstanding horticultural presenter. If you have a friend that you think would be interested in joining PlantAmnesty, bring them with you!

They're pot luck style and we always have great food! It's been said that the food is the best in the non-profit circuit. Who knew that was even a thing?! Well, we're winning!
