This registration page is private and is being This Renovation Workshop is a popular hands-on, session that will feature a low student:teacher ratio and real world experience in a public garden space. Students learn pruning and creative solutions for the overgrown garden, working on a variety of plants and landscaping designs. Some of the plants are in their third year of staged renovation, and their histories and progress will be discussed. Expect a mix of renovation pruning, corrective pruning, pruning for special forms, and some selective continuing maintenance. This workshop will be held on the grounds of Magnuson Park, and plants will include (but not be limited to) Garrya elliptica, barberry, Arbutus unedo, abelia, bottlebrush, vine maple, and other PNW native plants.
Prerequisites for this workshop are Tree Pruning I, Shrubs I and II, and How to Renovate and Prune the Overgrown Landscape.
Registration is $100/members and $125/nonmembers.
