Fall Renovation Pruning Workshop
November 5, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm PDT
$85.00 – $95.00This Renovation Workshop is a popular hands-on all–day event that will feature a 3:1 student-teacher ratio and real world experience. Students learn pruning and creative solutions for the overgrown garden as an entire yard is tackled during the class. Expect to tackle plant removal, transplanting, “unshearing”, bed enlargement/definition, and classic neglected shrub renovation. The group will move through an overgrown landscape while instructors give on-the-spot evaluations of plants and demonstrations of pruning. Workshop participants cycle through different zones to learn what the landscape has to offer. Expect discussions of renovation work that would be best performed during other seasons. This workshop will be held in the Mountlake Terrace/Edmonds area.
Registration is $85/members and $95/nonmembers. If you are registering for multiple people, please note that our registration portal now permits you to enter each participant’s name and email address when registering. Entering this information will ensure that all registered participants receive informational emails regarding the workshop.
Due to the proximity needed for demonstrations, please be prepared to use a mask if a rotation team member or an instructor within a rotation group requests masks. We will require proof of full vaccination or a negative PCR test within 48 hours of the event. We expect all attendees, volunteers, and instructors to maintain appropriate distancing throughout the day.
If registration fills up but you expect to be available on the date of this workshop, email info@plantamnesty.org to request to be put on the wait list. We will need you to provide your full name, email, and phone number in your wait list request.
